The Auckland Jazz Festival is co-ordinated by CJC Creative Jazz Club Aotearoa

We are grateful for the support and co-operation of all the venues and artists involved. 

Performing at the festival - submissions open. 

The Auckland Jazz Festival is based on a fringe festival model, with some events curated directly by the organisation, some by partner venues, and others by the community putting gigs on. 

If you'd like to perform at the festival, the best way to do so is to put a gig on - either supported by a venue or by door sales or tickets. 

We have some timeslots open up at a few small venues. If you'd like to be considered for one, please contact us by email here, with a description of the event/band/show and a good promotional image. 

We'll do our best to get back to you, but please understand it's a busy time for us in the lead up to the festival. 

Listing a gig

If you have a gig you'd like us to list, we probably will. 

Please send us, by email, a good promo shot, a compelling description, and ALL the details of the gig and venue. 

We encourage you to think about what will make your gig stand out in the crowd. We reserve the right to select what gigs are featured on the website and in the printed promotional material. We may ask you to place a poster or fliers in the venue in return. 

Registration Fee

There is a small fee for registering your gig with the festival, to help with promotion and administration. This money goes straight into making the festival a success.
